Rnd 7-16: hdc in each st around, join with a sl st, fasten off. Weave in your loose end. (56 hdc)
Change yarn color to aqua. Now work from the inside because this is where we start making the tiara.

Rnd 4: sc in the next 7 sts, hdcs in the next 7 sts, dc in the next 9 sts, hdc in the next 7 sts, sc in the next 5 sts, turn (33 sts)
Rnd 5: (slip stitch, skip one stitch, {2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in same stitch}, skip stitch) repeat 3 times, slip stitch (13 sts)
sc, skip 2, {3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc}, skip 2, sc (7 sts)
(slip stitch, skip one stitch, {2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in same stitch}, skip stitch) repeat 3 times. slip stitch (13 sts)
(skip one stitch, {2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in same stitch}, skip stitch, slip stitch) repeat 5 times (20 sts)
skip one stitch, {2 hdc, ch 2, 2 hdc in same stitch}, skip stitch, and slip stitch around the crown. Weave end.
When you reach every ch 2 space on the top of each point, you do the following: sl st, ch 2, Puff stitch, ch 2, sl st.
Puff stitch: yarn over, put hook in stitch, yarn over, pull through, repeat 1 more time, pulling yarn through a total of 5 hoops.
Flowers:
Leave a long yarn to sew embellishment onto the flower, then to the project.
Start with ch 2.
Rnd 1: 5 sc into the first ch. Sl st into the first sc.
Rnd 2: (ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3, sl st) in the same st, repeat 4 more times until 5 petals formed. Fasten off and weave end.
If you want to make smaller flowers, you do the following: (ch 2, 3 hdc, ch 2, sl st) in the same st, repeat 4 more times until 5 petals formed. Fasten off and weave end.
If you want to make larger flowers, you do the following: (ch 4, 3 tc, ch 4, sl st) in the same st, repeat 4 more times until 5 petals formed. Fasten off and weave end.
Sew embellishment such as button or a snow flake onto the flower.
The hair:
Cut some (56) 48″ white yarn. It’s better to make the hair too long and cut it off at the right length, rather than having the hair too short.
To attach stands to the hat, take 1 strand, fold in half, finding the middle.
Use crochet hook, slip hook into the bottom stitch toward the top.
Hook the center of the hair piece and pull down a couple of inches through.
Then pass the long end of the strand through the loop and pull tight.
Repeat around.
Part the hair in the middle or side, whichever you like. I started placing the last hair on top of the hair before it, and every so often, I inserted the hair into the hat stitch to keep the hair in place. Just keep going around until you it’s time for you to do the braids.
Secure braids with hair ties and glue/sew the flower you just made.
Phewwwwwwww….. I hope you understand what I am trying to explain to you. If I am not clear, then YouTube tutorial to do Elsa’s hair.
I made this Elsa’s tiara because a hat would be too hot to wear during summer. Smart, ehh?

Which one do you like better? Elsa’s hat or Elsa’s tiara?
