{DIY} a Crown hair clip for my princess
Materials:
~ felt or craft foam paper/sheet. Preferable a glittery one 🙂
~ tulle
~ hair clip and {optional} a piece of ribbon to cover the hair clip
~ 4 mm pearl or other embellishments
~ glue gun
~ scissor
~ sewing needle and thread
1. Cut felt or foam paper following the CROWN TEMPLATE. Connect the two ends and glue them together.
2. Glue pearl on crown’s tips.
3. Cut tulle about 1.5″ x 12″. Gather fabric and sew ruffles.
4. Attach tulle on the crown base.
5. Attach hair clip on the bottom. Tada!! And now you’ve got a beautiful princess crown!
The holidays are just around the corner, I am making dozens of these Princess Crown for my daughter’s classmates Christmas gift: Something cute and doesn’t hurt my wallet 🙂
For the boys, I am planning to make Olaf necklace out of battery operated tea light. I will post the tutorial soon.
Have you think of the holidays? Maybe this Princess Crown will make the ‘little’ princesses you know very happy.
