{Crochet} Fifi lapin egg cozies

Materials:

Medium worsted yarn.  I use Caron Simply Soft.

Crochet hook 3.5 mm / E

Scissors

Hat style 1:

Step 1: Magic ring, work 6 sc.  Slip stitch. { 6 }

Step 2: chain 1, 2 sc all around.  Slip stitch { 12 }

Step 3: chain 1, *2 sc, 1 sc in next st* repeat across.  Slip stitch. { 18 }

Step 4: chain 1, *2 sc, 1 sc in next 2 sts* repeat across.  Slip stitch. { 24}

Step 5-9: chain 1, 1 sc all around.  Slip stitch. { 24 }

Step 10: chain 1, TURN. 1 sc all around, in back loop only.  Slip stitch { 24 }

Step 11: chain 1, 1 sc all around.  Slip stitch. { 24 }

Fasten off

Hat style 2:

Step 1: Magic ring, work 4 sc.  Slip stitch. { 4 }

Step 2: chain 1, 2 sc all around.  Slip stitch { 8 }

Step 2: chain 1, 2 sc all around.  Slip stitch { 16 }

Step 3: chain 1, *2 sc, 1 sc in next st* repeat across.  Slip stitch. { 24 }

Step 4-7: chain 1, 1 sc all around.  Slip stitch. { 24 }

Step 8: chain 1, 1 sc in next 8 sts, 8 slip stitch, 1 sc in next 8 sts.  Slip stitch { 24 }

Step 9: chain 1, 1 sc in next 9 sts, 6 slip stitch, 1 sc in next 9 sts.  Slip stitch { 24 }

Fasten off

Ear: { make 2 }

Step 1: Magic ring, work 3 sc.  Slip stitch. { 4 }

Step 2: chain 1, 2 sc, 1 sc in next st* repeat.  Slip stitch { 6 }

Step 3-7: chain 1, 1 sc all around.  Slip stitch { 6 }

Fasten off.

Finishing:

With yarn needle, sew ears onto hat preferable with the same color yarn you use for the hat.
